I have a salary sacrifice car. I have just been informed due to inflation insurance has gone up and now I have to pay extra £26 per month over four year period even though I only took the lease out three months ago. My nhs trust have passed cost onto me . Can they do this? Seems extortionate

Time to dig out the TS and Cs of having a lease car through the NHS trust.

You may find someone on here in a similar situation but the rest of us can only guess.

Insurance costs doesn't just rise due to inflation but a myriad of other factors. The trust is simply passing on the cost of insuring your choosen vehicle. The terms of which will be clearly laid out in the leasing agreement you signed up to.
