Credit Card Protection Policy Plan

Options
I pay a protection policy payment on 3 different credit cards and was recently told when opening a new bank account I only needed to pay this to one company to cover all my cards. Is this correct and can I claim back recent payments.

Comments

  • cancel all 3 and never get any future protection plans. They're a complete waste of money. They wouldn't pay out if you ever tried to claim on one of them anyway

I believe the poster is referring to 'card protection' (one phone call and all registered cards are cancelled), not 'payment protection'.
  • Thank you for your help.

Does each seperate protection payment on each card go tho the same company or does it go to the credit card company?

They're the same thing in my book, a complete and utter waste of money. No wonder the bank or credit card company are so keen to sell you it. It's almost pure profit for them.
