Gers - the things eldest DD usually requests I take to Germany are paracetamol, ibuprofen and lemsip! All of which are a lot more expensive there. I used to take Cadburys chocolate but she's quite happy with German chocolate now.

Morning all, the sun is shining again after the rain yesterday. I had to go out afterwards yesterday as Dad wasn't answering his mobile phone or his landline, so off we trundled to find him sitting in his chair large as large as life with the TV blaring as he hadn't put his hearing aid in🙄 He has a carer starting this morning so hopefully that will take a bit of pressure off everyone because at least we know that he'll be set up for the day.
I have a wash on the go this morning so I shall hang it out before taking a few things over to the van. We usually empty the van over the winter and normally put things back in during the summer but things have been a bit up in the air so far this year. Later we have a sm delivery arriving so I can play "putting it away" 😂
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.

Morning all
Looks to be a lovely day here with wall to wall sunshine atm, I have a towel wash on the go and they can be hung out for a while.
OH is off today as he has to take his dad to a hospital appointment and dd is off too so we are all here which is unusual for a Friday, dd is taking big pup to the vets as she seems to have an ear infection again poor thing.
Taff I use the bbc recipe for the B & B pickles but I let mine drain for 24 hours and not the 2 suggested this makes them crunchier it’s a great way to use up cucumbers xxx
Not sure about dinner tonight but will go and look in the freezer after this. Will put another wash on as well.
Mehefin glad you are finally able to get things sorted xxx
DP1 so glad little one is home I hope she continues to improve xxx
Have good days all and take care xx6 -
Morning all and thanks for the start @-taff Can’t believe your building work is that far advanced already, they are motoring! Enjoy the massage.
Glad the meeting with the celebrant went well @Mehefin. What about ‘Wild Horses’ by Susan Boyle? I love the other choices you’ve made.
Funny about requests from those that live overseas. A friend who relocated to the US requests Frazzles whenever anyone visits.
Sorry to hear you’re not well @peony40 – I have the same with anything deep fried L
We are off to the cinema tonight with our limitless membership – seeing Wolverine/Deadpool which should be a giggle. A quiet day tomorrow – might see DS1/DIL if they are around and he’s not working. Sunday we are visiting DSis for some final hike prep.
Have a good day all

Happy Friday everyone
I should be relishing the fact that I have no hospital appts to get anytime to today but I’m feeling a bit worn down.Anyway I have taken it out on the downstairs windows and tiled floors so things are a bit less spidery and dusty. I might do similar with some weeds later as the recent rain may have loosened them .
take care all
