E.Surv

Does anyone have any recent experience with a surveying company called E.Surv? We are selling our house to a couple who don’t need a mortgage but have instructed E.Surv to carry out a L2 survey. I made the mistake of googling the company and their reviews are terrible and they appear notorious for down-valuing. I used the search facility on this forum but there doesn’t seem to be any threads since 2020.

So any recent experiences? Preferably ones with no issues to put my mind at rest 😂

  • Currently in the process of buying a house and we used them - it was through our lender. They were great, can’t fault them for anything really unless we buy the place and the surveyor has missed some obvious massive defect!
  • Oh and they valued right on the money at purchase price

Thanks, good to know. Our house is 100 years old so never going to be perfect but I think the value we have accepted is in the right ballpark!

ESurv have surveyed our house twice for different lenders and both times have valued at the price the first time that we paid and the second time that we stated for the remortgage.

Funnily enough it was the same guy who came to survey it two years apart.

We certainly wouldn't worry about them.
