Car Insurance comprison sites?

I have trust issues.

MSE seems to have lost/buried all other car insurance comparison websites, except it's own ('Compare+' tool - and DirectLine).  Years of indoctrination with MSE has taught me that when a site offers no choice except what it offers, then it's only looking out for itself. Where's the transparency? If I want to 'waste my time' looking elsewhere, it's my time to waste. I like choice and MSE for Car Insurance now doesn't really offer any.

What's a trustworthy website that will show me all comparison sites?

MSE is owned by MoneySupermarket, why do you think they expose the MoneySupermarket tool more than others? Similarly in many cases the affiliate links to others tend to appear higher in lists than the non-affiliate links (if there are any).

Google is always your friend if you want to find other options without getting commission for MSE

Why do you need such a site?

Meerkats, Money Supermarket, Go Compare - all do much of a muchness - just look at whatever offers better perks or use TopCashBack compare and get money back

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • Topcashback have terrible reviews for not paying out the “cashback”. DYOR

Fair enough, I got paid this year, first time I tested it. Quidco are far worse in my opinion - looking at a year for a payout for an MSE offer for new users

Quidco is also owned by MoneySupermarket just the same as MSE
