Parking Collection Services PCN

Hi All,

I received a PCN in the post today from Parking Collection Services alleging that my vehicle was unauthorised and parked on private land.  When I went onto their website to view the photographic evidence of this, it wasnt there.

So I called PCS and they too dont have any photographic evidence of it but claim that they have ANPR readings of my vehicle entering and exiting the area around 30 minutes apart.

What do I do in this situation?  Do they need the photographic evidence? Can I appeal?

If they don't have the "evidence" how do you think they can pursue you all the way to court? If they have the ANPR images, then they are supposed to make them available on their website. The only way you can force them to show you is to SAR them.

For now, carry on with Plan A and get the landowner or their managing agent to cancel the PCN. Don't miss the deadline to do your Plan B appeal to PCS. Just use the blue template appeal in the Newbies/FAQ thread only as the keeper. Do not identify the driver, inadvertently or otherwise.

Plan A... try and get the landowner or their managing agent or whoever contracted the vermin to , so called, "manage" the car park, to get the PCN cancelled.

Plan B... appeal to the operator (PCS).

Plan C... appeal to the operators AOS independent appeals service

Plan D... the ultimate dispute resolution service, the small claims track in the count court

That means you haven't yet read:
NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST.

See my signature. No link to that thread needed.  Posters are asked to read it before posting.

A Template appeal is there on the Announcement thread, to stop people phoning PPCs (too late, don't do that again) and to stop them appealing & blabbing who the driver was.

You can ignore PCS or appeal. You won't ever pay them.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
