Entrants will be encouraged to explore any of the water company's 10 visitor sites as well as green spaces to stand a chance of winning a grand prize.

The winner will bag themselves a £100 Virgin Experience Days voucher as part of the company's 'Days Out' campaign which urges participants to capture and share their outdoor experiences.

The competition is also coupled with the release of the company's brand-new treasure maps.

These maps, one for each region, highlight a range of fun and low-cost attractions for the family over the holidays.

The maps can be downloaded for free from the Severn Trent website.

All competition entrants must visit either a visitor site, or green community space on the treasure map, then take a photo of themselves enjoying a summer experience in nature and share the image on Instagram with #STYourLocalTreasure or tag the water company's official handle (@severntrent).
