When we last sold our house was listed with 2 agents. The agent not involved with the sale was very slow to remove it from sale. I guess he hoped if the initial sale fell through he'd be ready to show buyers round? It was taken down after about 2 weeks but took several phone calls. The agent that sold it marked it SSTC almost immediately. Some agents like to have lots of houses apparently listed for sale while others like to show potential vendors that the have sold a high % of their listings.I'd just keep reminding them to take it down.0

When we were buying and selling last year we had had to have various documents in place like mortgage offers in principle, pay slips, appointed solicitor etc before they officially came off the market.
If there's more than one agent involved it is worth making sure the other agent knows you've had an offer accepted by the other agent. A lot of people out houses up with two different agents or even 3 and it can complicate things, there's a house in my turn that had the two different sale boards, one still showing it for sale and one showing it as sold!0 -
If it’s a multiagent, the agents you haven’t offered through will leave it on the market but not conduct viewings.
The agent you offered through should take it off, assuming you are ready to purchase or your SSTC on your current property or chain free2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.
