Anyone have issues with their first payment after migration from Legacy benefits
I have been told the amount due for my 1st payment after migrating  from tax credits and it’s way less than I was getting.
I can see where the issues are - there is no disabled child premium and no transitional Protection payment - that is showing as £0 and it states my uc payment is no less than I was getting but it’s a lot less
I was also eligible for tax credits for my son till the end of August for son who was at college this year but there’s nothing for him. I know I wont get anything for him after that I thought I’d still get something this month as I would have done if I’d still been on tax credits and I still get cb for him till sept.
I’ve message via my journal a couple of days ago but not had a reply yet

There's a very recent thread where another poster is having similar problems (it's two or three threads down). It's probably down to the transitional protection not yet being included. If you don't get a reply in the next day or two, maybe send another message via your journal?

There may not have been any entitlement to child element for your son who left college, it will depend on his age and what his plans are and whether he's going to be working or continuing with education.

Rules are different for child tax credits than they are for UC.

How old is the child for whom you are expecting the disabled child element?

12 he gets high rate care dla and I get carers allowance for him
My older son is 18 and just finished college I know I won’t get anything for him from sept but under the transitional protection I was advised I’d still get something this month as I would of if I’d still been getting tax credits.

Ah.  I can see no reason they've missed the disabled child element - how much verification can it need‽
The transitional protection is not as straightforward as simply topping up your UC to what you used to get (even though that's pretty much how they made it sound); it's calculated on a notional award and I'm not sure if it takes into account deductions for earned income or not.  Others are more knowledgeable to be able to advise but I believe you can ask for a breakdown of how the TP was calculated which would be required to see if they have calculated it correctly or not.

Anyone know who long it takes for them to get back to you?
it’s been nearly a week and no response yet I did try calling to be told I need to message via my journal (which I’d already done) and wait for someone to get to me.

After waiting nearly a week they messaged to say despite me adding it and I can see it on the clism if I click on the link via my journal that they can’t see their end that I put down ds get dla so I had to re add it to my claim via change in circumstances so any arrears due can be paid . A few days go by and they update to say they are still waiting for His info to be verified- how long can that possibly take?   I also messaged again to query no payment for my other ds or if I should have had a transitional protection payment - no reply. Then today they added a message saying thanks for updating them my next statement is due in September.
does that mean I’m not getting any additional payment this month?
I tried calling to ask but got told you have to deal with it via your journal
