Saint Lucia Tourism Authority - Notting Hill Carnival Competition

Terms and conditions

1. This Prize Draw is open to residents of the UK and Ireland aged 18 or over, except for employees of Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and Coco Palm and their families, agencies or anyone else associated with this competition.  

2. This competition will run from the 7th August to 30th September 2024.

3. The prize is a holiday to Saint Lucia. It is valid for a maximum of 2 adults (one winner plus one guest) and must be taken in one trip. The prize consists of two return economy airline seats from London to Saint Lucia, a seven-night stay at Harmony Marine Suites in a Luxury Waterfront Suite with Daily Breakfast and on-island airport transfers. The winner will also receive a 'Rum of Rhythm' tour by St Lucia Distillers

4. The winner will be selected at random from all complete entries.

5. Entrants must enter competitions using their legal name only. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who uses multiple names and to require them to return any prize they may have won.

6. We reserve the right to publish and/or broadcast the first name and surname of competition winners. We reserve the right to request feedback from your experience to include in promotional material.

7. No person may enter this competition more than once and persons may not enter or participate as part of a syndicate or on behalf of any other person, syndicate, group, society or company. If we suspect that an individual has set up a fake email address to circumvent this rule, we reserve the right to disqualify all entries that we reasonably believe were generated by that individual.

8. This prize is valid for a maximum of two adults. Your complimentary certificate is subject to availability and avoids school holidays, Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas. Other blackout periods may apply.

9. Reservations must be made directly with Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, to claim your prize email: sltainfo@stluciauk.org  

10. Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and Harmony Marina Suites, make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at the destination.

11. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner and companion.  

12. This prize is also subject to Prize Provider’s (Harmony Marina Suites’) Terms and Conditions also.

13. The winner and their chosen companion must comply with all relevant customs, security and immigration requirements, including appropriate passport and visa requirements. The prize winner and their companion are responsible for holding a passport with at least six months validity remaining after the return to the UK and must organise relevant visas where required. UK passport holders do not require a visa to visit Saint Lucia. Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and Harmony Marina Suites will not be responsible for any passenger’s failure to comply with these requirements.  

14. Winners will be contacted using the email address given at the time of entry and must reply to acknowledge their prize within 7 days, otherwise they forfeit their prize and we reserve the right to draw another winner.

15. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-changeable. Certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer.  

16. The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and Harmony Marina Suites may make changes to this prize without notice and subject to availability.

17. The prize does NOT include travel to and from London Gatwick airport, or any travel or other expenses during the trip unless otherwise stated. Any out of pocket expenses (such as phone, room service, drinks purchases, gifts and food) are not included in the prize.

18. Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and Harmony Marina Suites, shall not be responsible for any indirect, special or consequential damages or losses suffered by the entrant or a third party.

19. Should the hotel be sold or suffer any material change resulting in the closure of the hotel during the validity of this prize, Harmony Marina Suites will be unable to honour the prize and cannot be held liable for alternative accommodation.

20. All guests are required to show their passport and provide a valid major credit card upon which a pre-authorization of US$350.00 shall be taken to cover any possible incidental charges. The pre-authorization is released at check-out subject to any charges incurred locally at the Resort.  

21. The winner has to agree to all the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.

22. The prize will be coordinated by the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority’s representative, and will be the main point of contact in relation to the prize.

RULES, LIABILITIES AND JURISDICTIONS

1. When you enter the competition, you agree to be bound by these rules.

2. Saint Lucia Tourism Authority and Harmony Marina Suites, do not accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner(s) arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.
