You had best ask every insurer that explicit question every year from now on as many will not take that stance. Good that this one doesn't consider it as a cancelled policy, but many will.webbit said:

Most insurers will want to know you have had previous insurance cancelled for non-payment, its one of the lesser sins but does pretty much bar you from being able to buy online as all ask you if you've ever had insurance cancelled and when you answer yes it instructs you to phone them.webbit said:

Not the case , I've asked both insurance companies and doesn't count as cancelled policy if anything we cancelled it , and the original company have taken some issues I raised and agreed with us and refunded the cancellation fee, 50/50 blame if you like .. all sorted now, if only they'd answered their phone we'd of still been with them0
