Doggymum
I'm afraid the vet diagnosed hemangiosarcoma (cancer of the blood vessels / spleen) whilst in for an ear cleaning operation. Due to this and other multiple health issues, I reluctantly decided to euthanise. The tumour was later found to amass 2kg in size.
With regard to the sucralfate, I had exactly the same problem as you. The UK pharmacies were worse than useless. Thankfully the vet wrote a prescription, which the Canadian pharmacy accepted. Unfortunately due to a pre-Christmas postal strike I received it from Canada less than a week before my dog died, although I'd been using a far more expensive supply from a UK vet for some months.
I've sent you a personal message regarding the online pharmacy I used, and what you will need. Good luck!0
