BT mis-sold contract

There was another thread here where it was asked if you discuss something verbally and then the contract says otherwise what do you do and this issue probably comes under that kind of topic.

I'm 99.9% sure BT have all the info on their website and in the contract correctly worded but if OP was sold the service over the phone the adviser might have either said something incorrect or phrased it in a way that could be taken otherwise. Given BT are offering OP £180 it's more likely than not they've made a bit of a mistake somewhere.

If they are offering £180 towards the cost of the package then you will need one of £23.49 per month or less to be better off. Don't know of any Sky or Virgin services that are lower than this for FTTP services.

It's g.fast so it's not a full fibre product.

I believe it was previously marketed as "Ultrafast 100" and I think it's no longer available to purchase as BT dumped g.fast in favour of full fibre.
