    Nice result.  As a fellow business owner I'm really pleased for you.  Having had my (un)fair share of unreasonable customers, it's good to see justice prevail in this instance.

    He was fully expecting us to fold at an early stage.  He assumed we would be intimidated by his antagonistic manner and his legal background, and that we would decide to bung him £800 rather than spend time, effort and money on defending our position.

    New developments- the claimant was not at all happy with the results of the hearing. 

    He informs us he has appealed the decision. We will wait for the court papers to see what the grounds are for this appeal.
