Lloyds have unnexpectedly sent me a new Debit card that will expire in Nov 2027. This replaces a perfect good card that expires later in Jan 2028. Why have they done this, and which one should I use? I could do without the faff!

You obviously use the new one. There are a million and one reasons why they would have replaced it. Is the long number different ?
