Having trouble moving money to new account , keeps saying name doesn't match , even though I am inputting name as on the website and account numbers right ? 
May have to wait until Monday to phone, just wondered if anyone else had had  the same issue and how they solved it.

    Have you selected, 'paying a business' and inputted the name as, "Principality Building Society'? I had no problems with this earlier in the week with a couple of new regular savers.

    How new is the new account? Sometimes it can take a while to update.

    If you have triple checked the sort code / account no / etc then you could bypass the check sending a small test amount first. Though that may not show until a working day. Weekends and bank holidays not always the best days to be transferring money to a BS.

    You may find all is fine if you wait until Monday.

    I had put my name and personal, thank you so much . Obviously not using my brain 😂

  • Also make sure you insert your Principality account number as the payment reference, so that they can then allocate the payment to your account (otherwise it will bounce back to you).
