Boiler service - will being 1-2 weeks late invalidate the waranty?

I had a Viessmann boiler installed last august and just got down to arranging a service. I might be 5-10 days late in getting the service as I am waiting for confirmation of availability from gas engineers. Will this invalidate my warranty or is there some leeway? The boiler works perfectly fine.

And just to double check: does the gas safe engineer need to be Viessmann accredited. I think i remember reading somewhere that anyone would do for servicing.

    You should be fine.

I think to have the extended warranty period it needs to be a Viessman engineer.

I've wondered this question, but I presume there's at least a month leeway. I've got a ten year warranty, I just need to use a gas safe engineer for the annual service.

The product must be serviced either by a competent installer or servicing company (i.e. Gas Safe registered) within one year (and each following year) of the installation date and the details recorded in the ‘Benchmark’ or Viessmann service logbook (this should have been completed by your installer when your product was installed), where required.
So as long as the engineer is Gas Safe registered, no requirement to use a Viessmann accredited engineer.
