Dinner tonight will be some steaks that I bought which we will bbq I will do some chips to go with them and an aubergine and maybe salad hopefully we will get some sun later.
Mehefin how shocking that you are still waiting for the DC you must be so frustrated xxx
Nanny sorry to hear of Mr Fix it’s news hopefully they can sort it quickly xx
Peony sorry for your loss x
Have good days all and take care xx8 -
Hello everyone
Sunny and warm here but very windy - at least my washing is drying. I got home about 7.30 last night and treated myself to fish and chips - I had just eaten bits all day. My plane landed at Newcastle at 5.15 and I was straight through security and on the metro within 20 minutes.
The cats came home this morning, apparently they've both had a lovely holiday! I've been down to mam and dads - dad is in bed as his ribs are really sore from his fall on Monday, his face is swollen and he has a black eye. He was happy i was back, he doesn't like me being away. He fell asleep so I got a nice chat with mam - she's changed her mind about the care home...I thought she would. I've told her to still speak to his care manager in case there is any other help they can get.
And I've actually got a little bit of good news! Little one had more energy yesterday and played with some toys for a little while. She also ate a tiny bit of food and then this morning has eaten a little bit of a sandwich. The special feed she is on has been reduced slightly too. She's not allowed out of her room still but DD says she's happier - I feel so relieved she seems to be improving at last.
Peony - so sorry to hear your sad news
Nanny - hope they can help Mr Fix it
Mehefin - I've just worked out what you're waiting for, hope you get it soon
Going to see if I can swop some washing around - hope you all have a good day x

What a little trouper your little one is. Such good news for your DD too.I've done a washing load and risked putting it out on the line. The rain held off until now so I've brought it in as I can see the rain coming in from across the sea. It's slightly damp so will need airing upstairs. I went out earlier for my meds then decided to not go to our country show, the ground will be so muddy and I'm still wobbly enough to worry about slipping. The outcome is that I'm slobbing around dipping in and out of the Games.6
