SECTION 4.1 - DESCRIPTION

The Dream Team Last Man Standing Game is a prediction game which runs throughout the Regular Season and only applies to fixtures in the English Premier League. The objective is to predict a winning team for each Matchweek until all other Participants have been eliminated.

To participate, you must select a team from the Featured Fixtures that you believe will win in the relevant Matchweek. If your selected team wins in that Matchweek, then you will progress to the following Matchweek. You must then select another team for the next Matchweek from the list of Featured Fixtures, although you cannot select a team that you have previously selected in a previous Matchweek during that Series. This process continues until the earlier of: a) only one Participant remains in that Series or b) the Regular Season ends.

There are six Prize Leagues which run throughout the Regular Season, starting on the following dates:

Prize LeaguesStart Date
1Matchweek 1 (Aug 16)
2Matchweek 6 (Sept 27/28)
3Matchweek 12 (Nov 22/23)
4Matchweek 18 (Jan 3/4)
5Matchweek 23 (Feb 21/22)
6Matchweek 27 (Apr 11/12)

In addition to the Prize Leagues, Participants can opt to join a Challenge League. No prizes are available for winning a Challenge League.

Also, you can join or create a Private or Public League to play against family, friends and colleagues.

SECTION 4.2 - HOW TO PLAY AND RULES

4.2.1 Eligibility

Dream Team Last Man Standing is available to play on the Website and Apps.

In order to submit an entry in Dream Team Last Man Standing you must be registered for Dream Team 2024/25.

To be eligible for prizes, you must meet the criteria set out at Section 2.1 of the General Terms & Conditions.

4.2.2 How to play

Participants must select one English Premier League team from the Featured Fixtures that they believe will win in that Matchweek. The deadline for selection is the scheduled kick-off time of the first Featured Fixture in the relevant Matchweek (the “Matchday Deadline”). Participants are able to select a team by clicking on the radio button on the row of the team that they wish to select. They must then click ‘Save team’.

If you successfully select a team that wins in the Matchweek, then you will proceed to the next round.

In the next round, you must select a team from a list of all of the teams in the Featured Fixtures for that Matchweek but you cannot select a team that you have previously picked in that Series. For example, if you select Crystal Palace to win in Matchweek 1, then you will not be able to re-select Crystal Palace for any matches for the rest of that Series.

If you are participating in an LMS League and you have survived for twenty consecutive Matchweeks, then the restrictions on team selections are reset so that all twenty teams are then available for selection, from which point the restriction on re-selecting teams will re-commence.

If your selected team doesn’t win (i.e. loses or draws), then you are eliminated from that Series.

If you fail to select a team by the Matchweek Deadline, then you will be randomly allocated a team from any of the teams who you have not previously selected during that Series.

4.2.3 Leagues, Matchweeks and Featured Fixtures

The Last Man Standing Game is split into multiple competitions as follows:

  1. the Prize Leagues – for more details, please see Section 4.2.6.1;
  2. the Challenge Leagues – for more details, please see Section 4.2.6.2;
  3. the Private Leagues and Public Leagues – for more details, please see Section 4.2.6.3; and

For each LMS League, a Series concludes on the earlier of the following:

a) there is one Participant remaining in that Series; or
b) the Regular Season ends and there are no matches remaining.

Featured Fixtures will only include matches from the English Premier League from Friday to Monday (inclusive).

A Matchweek commences from the Matchweek Deadline and ends when the final Featured Fixture of that Matchweek has concluded.

If a Featured Fixture is rescheduled before the Matchweek Deadline, it will be omitted from that round. Affected Participants will be able to choose another team up until Matchweek Deadline.

If after the Matchweek Deadline a Featured Fixture is removed from the Matchweek for any reason, then those Participants who selected either team in that Featured Fixture will go through to the next round but they will not be able to select that team again.

A new Matchweek opens after the final Featured Fixture concludes, at which point all remaining Participants will be able to select a team for the next Matchweek.

4.2.4 Duration

Each LMS League will continue until the earlier of (i) the point at which only one Participant remains in that Series, with all other Participants having been eliminated or (ii) the Regular Season finishes, prior to only one Participant remaining.

In the event that the remaining Participants in an LMS League are all eliminated in the same Matchweek, then all of those Participants will be deemed to have ‘survived’ and that LMS League will continue to the subsequent Matchweek.

4.2.6 Leagues

Participants are invited to enter Prize Leagues, the Challenge Leagues, the Private Leagues and the Public Leagues.

Unlike the Fantasy Game, Participants are listed using their name, not by a team name.

4.2.6.1 Prize Leagues

This is our league that is open to all Participants, with cash prizes available for the “Last Man Standing”. There will be six separate Prize Leagues operating throughout the Regular Season, commencing on the dates specified at Section 4.1.

Participants are invited to compete in the Prize Leagues, which will run throughout the Regular Season.

A Prize League may run concurrently with another Prize League if there are still Participants in a previous Prize League.

You may not have more than entry in a Prize League but you may participate in more than one Prize League at any one time. For example, if you are still participating in Prize League 1 at the start of Prize League 2, you can also enter Prize League 2.Please see Section 4.3.1 for information on the cash prizes available for each Prize League.

4.2.6.3 Challenge Leagues

These are our non-prize leagues offering you the opportunity to play a separate Last Man Standing game in addition to the Prize Leagues.

There will be a new Challenge League starting each Matchweek between MW2 and MW28 (inclusive) but excluding MW6, MW12, MW18 and MW24. These Challenge Leagues will run concurrently until their respective conclusions.

Participants are only able to enter one Challenge League at any one time. If a Participant is eliminated from a Challenge League, the new Challenge League for the subsequent Matchweek will become available to play.

There are no prizes available for winning a Challenge League.

4.2.6.3 Private and Public Leagues

Participants are able to create and join a Private or Public Leagues at any point in the Regular Season. Once successfully registered for the Game, Participants have the option to become a Chair or to join a Private League or Private League (provided that it has not already commenced).

  • A Public League is one that any Participant can join as they do not require a PIN to enter and can be found via a search facility in the ‘Leagues’ section.
  • A Private League is one that a Participant can only join if they have a unique PIN number for that Private League or followed a link directly from an invitation.

There is no limit to the number of Private or Public Leagues that can be created.

A Private or Public League finishes on the earlier of:

a) there is one Participant remaining in that Private or Public League; or
b) the Regular Season ends and there are no matches remaining.

All Public or Private Leagues created before Regular Season kicks off will default to become active in Matchweek 1.

Any Public or Private Leagues created after the Matchweek Deadline will become active from the next available Matchweek.

A Chair can select any future Matchweek for the Leagues to become active.

Upon creation of Private or Public Leagues, a Chair will need to set the following criteria:

League Name - a name can be up to 30 characters. The Promoter reserves the right to change any name deemed inappropriate or, in extreme cases, to remove the League and expel the Chair.

Privacy setting - select whether the League is a Public (open to all comers) or a Private (invite only).

There is no limit to the number of Leagues that a Participant can join.

Participants cannot join a League once it is active. Participants are only able to join a League when it is in an ‘Open’ status.

There are six game periods. The end date is based on kick off of the first match of the season to give those who comp by date a chance to enter the first one before the season starts. I'll change the date to the season's end on or about August 16th.
