Parking at long stay Edinburgh airport

      This issue is in regard to parking at Edinburgh airport, but may apply others,
0n Monday morning at 5am I attempted to book online to park in the long stay park ,   I was told I could only book that day from 7am onwards.    For booking at 7 I was quoted 39 pounds and that was till the Thursday at 1pm
as I was in a rush and my flight was at 6.20 am I just drove up and took a ticket ,     I arrived back at the airport at 12.30 on the Thursday
and drove to the barrier and inserted my ticket to pay ,      I got charged 140 pounds 😲.       How can there be such a difference between booking and using a ticket  ?     Over 100 pounds a difference surely can’t be correct.       Thanks

Quite normal. 

Advance booking is always much cheaper than just turning up and using the facility.

They also state the earlier you book, the less you pay.
