I'm in a new build house in Scotland and am trying to find the rules around snagging. The builder tells me the time limit is a year but everything I've looked up online says it's 2 years. Who is right?

What does your contract say? (and/or what did your solicitor tell you when you bought?) There are no general "consumer rights" about it.
