When your daughter has been to see the specialist, does she usually get a letter afterwards confirming what has been discussed and results of any assessments? Seems reasonable as part of that to ask about the exercise proposal and say "can you make sure that's included in the follow-up letter please?"1

Patients are entitled to get copies of these letters - in fact, some patient advocates say the letters should be addressed to the patient and it’s the GP who should get the “copy” - but some hospitals are still very bad at sending them to the patient. If you have not been getting them, you can ask to see the GP’s records, and any letters should be in there.Sapindus said:When your daughter has been to see the specialist, does she usually get a letter afterwards confirming what has been discussed and results of any assessments?
