Parking space in land registry

We went through all this when a relative bought a flat. The seller's had bought a parking space after buying the flat and it didn't show up in the lease. Their solicitor had to do much work in order to get the lease amended to include the parking space. It was a real headache as the freeholder was a company abroad, there were head leases that had changed hands between the parking space being purchased and the flat going on the market. It was a major hassle and there were many hurdles before all was finalised.

It's possible that you don't own a particular parking space, but instead the lease makes provision for you to be have access to a space as determined by the managing agent. 

This was the situation, but it takes just as long to sort. Especially when you apply to Land Registry to get it expedited and there are other cases with higher priority, that also need to be sorted before yours.
