URGENT Mobile phone fraud/ MS Authentication fraud

Not sure where to post this but here goes...

Have a SIM only deal with an online provider.
Yesterday had a text msg from my credit card re an unusual purchase - call them turns out to be fraudulent use of my card.
1 min after that I get a text msg from my mobile phone provider saying they have received a request to move my phone to another SIM.  2 mins after that I lose service.
Cannot speak to anyone at mobile phone co.  Don't get the emails.

Fraudsters have managed to reset the authentication app on my hotmail account and I don't get the mobile phone co emails.  Contact company with alternative email.
I explain this is fraudulent use.  I have to provide IMEI no. SIM card no etc etc.  Turns out the fraudsters have intercepted or accessed my emails and deleted them before I get to see them.

I have locked down all my bank accounts.
Have no mobile phone service as it take '5 working days' to reinstate a SIM but 2 mins to remove it.

I cannot for the life of me find out how to recover my authentification app.  I have tried the online services and fail because I cannot receive the text messages.

Can anyone help me please???  Would be eternally grateful for any help.

Yes, I have complained to CEO and no, nobody will call me to resolve this.  Highly frustrating.

Sorry, I can't help, but I use 2FAS as my authentication app because it allows me to backup the tokens so I can restore from a backup if I lose my phone. It also requires a PIN number to unlock the app, so helps if your phone is grabbed out of your hand while it is unlocked.

I also use an online passowrd manager, and store backup 2FA codes in the password manager when backup codes are offered.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Thanks for the above - I did have Microsoft Authenticator on my email account but they have found a way to reset the password.  There have been multi unsuccessful sign-ins yesterday and today.  Clearly some people have wayyy too much time on their hands!
