How much are eBay’s fees on a sale? Is it 10% of what you sell an item for?

Its 12.8% plus an additional 30p per item but it also depends if you are a private or business seller and also what you are selling.

It's best to wait for a FVF offer weekend where many sellers get an offer for 70% or 80% off the FVFs (30p set amount still payable though). To be precise there is an additional 0.4% payable on top of those mentioned which is not discounted by the 70/80%1
