Received IFA advice - thoughts please?

An IFA has advised my husband (who is a higher rate taxpayer) transfers his personal pension to one held on the Transact platform. Similarly that he does the same with his S&S ISA. Some of these shares are held as an intended investment for my son who is under 16. He does not have a JISA. Total charges for this proposal…

The probable disadvantage is that your husband may end up paying some tax on them that could have been avoided.

The shares in question seem to be held in his ISA.
Similarly that he does the same with his S&S ISA. Some of these shares are held as an intended investment for my son who is under 16.
