Firefox missing bits on page help please

Hi I use explorer and firefox and when I look at this page for example

in Explorer the black bar 2 inches from the top it has items to select like a menu but in Firefox it does not, it just has a black bar. Even if I hover there is nothing to select, like it is not there
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to Firefox to make it display these things correctly please?

I don't know if this is one of them but some sites are designed only for IE and do not work properly in Firefox. When I come across one I just use IE.0

Just tried the site, it looks as if this a case of poor website design.
The workaround is to download a Firefox extention such as IE View Lite.
You will then be able to open IE from within FF for that page.
