Does one on PIP get 13 payments of PIP in a year?

I seem to be paid PIP twice this August. I checked my deputyship bank statement he sent me and I get paid on the 1st and then the 29th August. Does this make sense?

Yes,it's paid every 4 weeks rather than monthly so there's 13 payments in a year.0

As you're also claiming ESA there will be one month a year where you will receive 3 payments, instead of 2.1

I get mixed up with the payments because all my benefits get paid to my deputyship at social services and he has started sending me a monthly back statement so I'm calculating my payments. He's doing this to give me in autonomy as I told him my benefits don't feel like my own money. And he's being quite strict with my monies because I'm going on holiday without staff in November so I need to save. Thank you @poppy12345 and @Joski0

I’m just going to say, hats off to your deputy because the appointee service in my area refuses point blank to share bank and benefits statements with clientsAll shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
