Premier Park PCN no evidence

Options
I was issued with the PCN from Premier Park for not paying for car park in Portcurno Beach.
To this day, I was 100% sure that I paid until I received the fine. I paid for ticket before leaving the car park, machine printed the receipt. It done "beep" sound and I thought it said "payment successful, thank you" on the screen. I wasn't paying much attention as at the same time my phone done "beep" and machine printed ticket. I couldn't see clearly the screen due to sunlight.
The problem is here... I haven't realised that the payment gone to pending due to poor signal and that the receipt is in fact payment failed. So I don't have confirmation of the transfer, either I can't check if the machine was properly working that day as I don't leave close. No proofs.
There were more people queuing to pay and struggling to pay as the machine was playing. There is no phone signal in this area.
Shall I pay the £60.? I only got one week left to decide.
Any advice much appreciated

Read the Newbies/FAQ thread as it answers all your questions.

Nobody that follows the advice pays a penny to these scammers. If you show me the word "fine" anywhere in the paperwork, I'll pay it for you. Whilst you're at it, I'll also give you £50 for each occurrence of the word "penalty".

What the keeper has received is simply a speculative invoice from an unregulated private parking company for an alleged breach of contract by the driver.

If I sent you an invoice for £100 but told you that if you pay me £60 within 14 days, I'll call it "quits", would you pay me? Why would you pay an ex-clamper just because they think you might be low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree and fall for the £40 bribe discount?
  • Yes you are right!no single word about "penalty or fine"!.
    But
I have read the newbies thread but I thought that my case doesn't fit due to me not having a good ground or good proofs to not pay. I can't come back to that car park, I can't do more photos, I don't have receipt of payment, I am not even sure if the machine was faulty. I only have my presumptions. I don't have much evidence if the case will go further.

Just ignore them then, and ignore the £170 threatograms (see the 4th post of the NEWBIES thread).

Tell them if you move house in 6 years.

Open all the letters. Come back here only to tell us if you get a LBC or court claim form.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Because if you fail to do that they will issue a court claim at your old address, you will not see it, you will fail to Defend yourself and a Default Judgment will be awarded against you.
