Using old SIM while waiting for Port In date?

I've just swapped my wife's mobile provider. Got the new Lebara SIM, activated it, completed Port In form and asked for Port to take place on Thursday.
Can we continue to use the old (iD Mobile) SIM until Wednesday?

    Yes , it will just stop working during the actual port process
