Looking for a Notice Savings Account in euros

Hi there, I am from the UK but now live in Spain. I intend to stay in Spain long-term and not return to the UK in the future. I want to start saving a little every month but I am on a low salary so I need something like a Notice account that will stop the temptation to withdraw money.

1) Must be able to save in euros
2) Must be a notice account where I can't withdraw except for certain notice periods eg: 90 days, 120 days
3) Must be able to pay in any amount at any time
4) Higher interest rates the better

Any suggestions or alternative solutions? Thanks!

It seems unlikely that a UK-based account will fit your needs, so your best bet will be to research the savings market in Spain....

If you are living in Spain. Then you need a Spanish bank.
Your UK bank can shut your account down if they find out.

A Spanish, or any EU bank

I believe Raisin offer access to dozens of EU savings accounts. I would start at raisin.es or raisin.com

I couldn’t find much good a couple of years ago, and ended up buying various EU sovereign bonds. I know it’s not what you’re after but shows a lack of options.

I am based in the UK though which limited my access to accounts offered to people living in the EU, even though I have an Irish passport. raisin.ie wouldn’t open accounts for me without an Irish address, even though I live in Northern Ireland, didn’t necessarily surprise me but sometimes creates an exception.

Trading212 offers the best rates for instant access at 4.2% but this doesn’t fit your criteria.
