See tickets-Boardmasters

Options
Hi ,
my 17 year old “bought” tickets for Boardmasters on See Tickets on a payment schedule. She missed a payment, which I paid for her. She thought my card details were now registered with them . She now has no ticket and has lost £164 . It does state that if you miss a payment you can not be refunded any of the money paid . Is this legal? Is it legal for 17 year olds to be allowed to sign up to such plans? The customer support is all online and automated. I have gone round in circles. You can’t get anywhere unless you have an order number. Her order number is no longer valid as her order was cancelled due to missed payment!
Any help greatly appreciated.

I think such plans are legal - they are not credit agreements as such. My football club allows 16 year olds to pay for their season ticket in this way. They aren't "borrowing" anything but if they stop paying the ticket is frozen out.

  • At the football club scheme are they entitled to a refund if they don’t complete the purchase?
