QDR Letter

Apologies this may already have been discussed. I have been recieving letters from ZZPS regarding a disputed parking charge notice, I have ignored these repeated letters. However I have now recieved a letter from QDR solicitors giving 14 days to make full payment or they may recommending their client to pass the matter for litigation. The PCN was in relation to a event in Scotland.
Should I ignore the QDR letter ?

    Yes.  Ignore.

Be more careful with signs on private land in future, as things are changing. Search the forum for:

A claim can be made up to 5 years from the date of the alleged breach of contract. Whether they would try and enforce anything is unknown but not likely for an alleged debt of only a few £100.
  • OIriginal amount was £100 reduced to £60 for quick payment. Since went up to £170 so not a great amount but it is for only being within carpark area ( not acually parked) for 30 mins. It was a hotel car park where my wife had gone into reception to ask about some spa services. The hotel has never got and never will now get our business.

Hi Clyde, I've just got (I assume) the same template letter from QDR giving me 14 days to pay for a 5 year old ticket (England). Ironically the letter turned up 14 days after the postage date! :) I had also previously received letters from ZZPS.

Did any further letters follow? I can't see any specifics on the letter about Letter before Claim, just that if I do not pay within 14 days they "will review my account which we anticipate will result in an instruction to issue County Court Proceedings against you".

I'm presuming that doing nothing is also the correct course in my case also.

    Cheers
