My daughter as just been summoned to the job centre. He partner is classed as disabled and gets pip and lctwb. She has been told she needs to earn the AET ie £1473 for a couple although her partner can not work. Surely this should be 50 % of £1473 or the single persons of £892 as she is the only worker in the house, thanks in anticipation.

Do you mean LCW or LCWRA?gezzrog said:He partner is classed as disabled and gets pip and lctwb.
If your daughter earns £892 or above she will move into the Light Touch regime. If she earns £1473 both her and her partner will move into the Light Touch regime (unless her partner is already in the NWRR (No Work Related Requirments regime) due to being LCWRA.
Just to note: These need to be employed earnings. Self-employed earnings won't move either of them into Light Touch.1 -
To be clear the PIP needs to include the daily living part.rosewalk said:As her partner gets PIP does she not receive the Carer Element of Universal Credit?1
