I've got a business on eBay selling sex toys needless to say a lot of buyers don't want t o give feedback so ebay has penalised me saying my feedback is low even though I have no negative or neutral feedbacks I decided to open my shop costing £90 for unlimited listing's I had 1000 listing's in there, they immediately reduced my limit to 100 items due to my feedback it's rudiculous does anyone at ebay have a business brain? are they running a business? I was selling going over 500 per month now ill be lucky to make £50 less their shop fee now so probably on a loss 🤬

What's your overalls eller dashboard like, are all your business policies correct and up to date and are you fully compliant with the many rules and restrictions that surround adult items in the UK on ebay.

There's obviously some misunderstanding somewhere though as OP mentions paying £90 pm for his shop for unlimited listings and that's wrong. The Featured shop is £77 PM before VAT so probably that one an that doesn't have unlimited listings only 1500 BINs and 600 auctions PM.
None of this makes any sense at all, but as I said earlier, it will almost certainly remain a mystery.
EDIT - just to pick up on your 'private' point, about 10 years ago there used to be a shop available for private sellers i'm not sure if it even still exists. That was about £10 per month and doesn't fit with the £90 pm shop fee, but it used to be limited to 100 listings . That would tie in with the 100 listings (although it used to be possible to just add more and pay for the extras - so that doesn't make sense either. It would also seem unlikely that a private seller would pass the requirements on ebay to sell adult goods, which is strongly regulated on ebay UK, as a private seller.

Yes, I recall the private seller shop; I think it was if you went over a set amount and if you wished to list above that limit. They allocated so many auctions and buy it now for a set price. And it wasn't popular because people just waited for the next free allocation.
You are probably right, seeing what's lawful maybe?0 -
You need approval to sell sex toys, seems odd eBay would approve the account and then limit it without a valid reason (I agree number of people not leaving feedback doesn't have any impact), did you get approval before selling such items OP?In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
