Morning from a very warm Nuremburg
I wrote an update on little one last night and saved it to post this morning but could only put it on Sunday....no idea why...anyways it's the last post on there.
Hope everyone has a good day x11 -
Morning all
Overcast and dull here this morning but we are promised some sun later I hope so as I have my throw from one of the sofas in the wm, I sat down last night on a hard lump in the corner of the sofa stood up again to find a dirt covered beef tail which little dog had ‘buried’ in the sofa 😂😂 it was covered in mud so she had obviously buried it in the garden first then thought better of it and thought the sofa was far safer ! Funny little girl! So the throw is now being washed.
Another unexpected day off for me as both my people are poorly but I have lots I can do to fill my time, dd is on day off today so we will walk the dogs together later.
Dinner tonight is a gammon joint which I slow cooked yesterday as it’s easier to carve when it’s cold, I will do a few chips with it and an egg.
DP1 I hope the feeding line helps little one she has really been through it xx
Mehefin I’m glad your ds is able to stay a little while it must be some comfort xxx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Afternoon everyone and thanks for the start @Gers. I hope your weather improved.
Glad to hear you and DS are getting things sorted @Mehefin. I am sure you are both still very much in shock so it’s all the worse for having to deal with big decisions. Glad you are eating well and I did chuckle at the horses’ reaction to your lateness!
We had a good visit to Chartwell on Saturday – free entrance via a newspaper voucher. Did spend out on parking and café visit though. I have a dental check-up today so that’ll doubtless be another £100 or so.
Such a shame about DGD’s summer holiday plans @dp1. She’s such a little star with everything she is going through x
Have a good evening all,
Coxy
