A reminder of what I said above. Did you warn them about striking it out and them being liable for your costs if they tried a claim?Coupon-mad said:Which PPC and which solicitor?
There's no potential court claim because the alleged contract occurred in Scotland.
If you have been sent a Letter before Claim (who by?) then reply pointing out the alleged contract occurred in Scotland, so their client can't bring a claim in the English County Courts. If they try, you will either Counterclaim for UKGDPR /DPA 2018 data misuse, or will make an application to strike it out and their client will be liable for your costs.

I think you should file a N244 application to strike out the claim due to lack of jurisdiction. The alleged contract and alleged conduct took place in Scotland. Ask for summary judgment and your costs (£119).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

DCB Legal are trying it on.
Download a N244 form.
Then Google:
make n244 application to strike out jurisdictionTo dispute the jurisdiction of a court, a defendant can file an Acknowledgment of Service and then make an application to the court within 14 days. The application can be made on these grounds:- The defendant disputes the court's jurisdiction to hear the case

When you get the claim from the courts you can log onto moneyclaim..gov.uk. You register your response to the claim . I can dispute the whole claim or wish 28 days to defend or contest court jurisdiction? Or defend . I have witnesses 3 in total .Coupon-mad said:

reading up about carpark fines in scotland being pursued in england can be through civil mine is registered and i have to act with a defence. they wouldnt have pursued if they thought no case to answer. i have a good defense the fact i wasnt parked but its the upset i am going through that these practices are allowed. discusting. its not about the money its about the fact i wasnt parked and companies can do this. good luck to all fighting similar practices that should be outlawed.0
