Dear all, back again.
received a PCN today. From my research on the thread, the letter is POFA compliant.
my understanding of the situation from the driver is that they were waiting for a friend to pick them up. Total duration was 20 minutes. Driver is checking with friend if tenancy allows for parking.

Anyhow, am I right in thinking process is 1. To try and get it cancelled from labdowner (which could be drivers friend).
2. to appeal using blue text.

Actually going to answer my own question and say yes.Moving onto when it’s rejected. Does driver have any defence seeing as the letter is POFA compliant1

There's ALWAYS a defence v a PPC. Always.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD1 -
(Remember, don't identify the driver to the PPC.)
