Hi,
I am on Pension Credit Guarantee and Housing Benefit.
I know I am allowed to go on holiday abroad for 4 weeks max without loosing my benefits. Is this 4 weeks in total during one year or 4 weeks max on multiple occasions in one year? And would the year start in January?
In my case I would like to go abroad... say for example 2 weeks in May and 3 weeks in September and would be staying with relatives, would this be allowed or would I loose my benefits because that would be longer then 4 weeks in total?
Yes I did asked the benefits office directly and got a different answer on two different occasions, or maybe I did not explain myself properly. Housing Benefit answered with the question "How can you afford to go twice?".
Many thanks for your help.

It's 28 days in a row, there is no set limit on how many times a year. What you are looking to do is completely fine.cinch said:Hi,I am on Pension Credit Guarantee and Housing Benefit.I know I am allowed to go on holiday abroad for 4 weeks max without loosing my benefits.
