The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, in a Deluxe room at One Aldwych, a cultured, independent hotel on the edge of Covent Garden, in the West End. Steps from the Royal Opera House, the hotel occupies the former offices of The Morning Post newspaper and commands view along Waterloo Bridge.
The suites and bedrooms mix art deco period details with luxurious fabrics and handmade furniture. The double-height lobby bar is the place for cocktails, while the head chef Dominic Teague champions British ingredients such as Norfolk quail and Peterhead cod in the Indigo restaurant, where one tasting-menu dinner for two is included in the prize.
The prize must be taken before December 20, 2024, subject to availability and excluding bank holiday weekends.
The prize is non transferable and cannot be exchanged for its monetary value or any other item.
