Free Childcare for Working Parents Query

Evening All.
                      My Son currently gets 15hours Free Childcare per week under the "Free Childcare for Working Parents" Scheme - he became eligible in April when the Government implemented the 15hrs free childcare for 2 year olds scheme.

He turned 3 at the end of May - which means he will now be eligible for the 30hours Free Childcare for Working Parents from September 01st (The next Term)

I just want to check with those who might know the answer - do I need to do a separate / new application to get the full 30hrs as opposed to the current 15hrs he gets? Or is the increase in the amount of free hours automatic and no new application needs to be submitted?

I've done the reconfirmation we have to do every 3 months on my childcare account.

I have looked online but can't seem to find an answer!
