WARNING: Uber Eats/Evri

I have nothing but praise for Evri and Uber Eats but the only time I receive scam phone calls is after receiving deliveries from these two companies. Coincidence? I don't believe in coincidences. Someone is phishing phone numbers and they're getting away with it.

What type of scam phone calls are you getting?

Is it a real person with specific knowledge about you - maybe knowledge about your deliveries?

Or is it a 'generic' call from a real person saying something like a hacker is accessing your computer, or asking about a car accident?

Or is it a computerised recorded message from 'Visa Security Department' or relating to 'Amazon Prime Renewals' or relating to buying train tickets, or similar?

Or something else?

Must just be you ( or someone locally in the delivery chain is passing details on )

I only get the EVRI how was your delivery emails which I always ignore until my packaged arrived and it had clearly been
sliced open with a very sharp blade. Grey plastic envelope of a decent quality so no an accidental opening.

Sharp scalpel/utility blade approx 4" across the package, hard to do that accidentally.
