I'm in the process of my own little battle with Premier Park Ltd. It stems from a little goldmine known as Exeter Road Car Park, Braunton.
I thought I'd do a little digging into the land owner to see where the trail led. I believe this provides the worst possible truth about this torrid industry.
Exeter Road Car Park, Braunton, EX33 2JJ, is operated/leased by Premier Park Limited.
The title for the land belongs to the George Hotel, Exeter Road, Braunton.
The title for the George Hotel, Exeter Road, Braunton belongs to Tavern Propco Limited.
Tavern Propco Limited, is an internationally registered privately owned business based in tax haven St Helier Jersey.
The principal beneficiary of Tavern Propco Limited, is an American Investment Banker worth an alleged $1.82 billion
Really does stink doesn't it!
I've written to my MP to raise this again and urge others to do so.

Have you checked that planning permission has been approved for any pole mounted ANPR scameras, and if advertising consent for any signs grater than 0.3 m² has been granted? Not having the latter is a criminal offence, but only the council can pursue it.
If ad' consent has not been granted, then complain to the council/planning office and your MP. Failing to enforce this by a government official (councillor/council employee) could constitute misconduct in public office.
Not having ad' consent is also a breach of Para 12 of the PoFA2012, and a breach of the PPC's KADOE contract with the DVLA.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

No, but I might. Do you know if this is publicly available information or would I have to submit a request to the local Council in question? Thx.Castle said:

If the signage at the entrance still looks like this it is woefully in adequate:

Some councils publish a spreadsheet on their website listing all the non-domestic rate payers and the properties covered.
Other councils wrongly consider that publishing that would somehow breach data protection legislation.1 -

Yes, it remains like this. They (and POPLA) maintained their signage is compliant with requirements. I was lured into the carpark at dusk (fading light), by a generic road 'P' Sign. Further there is only 1 sign that carries all of the detail including charges in one corner. I'm attaching a comparison of this sign with others that are much clearer and providing a visual of the actual size of the sign for context. Bearing in mind, I'm incapacitated dealing with a medical issue in my car at the time. Can you make out any of the necessary information?fisherjim said:If the signage at the entrance still looks like this it is woefully in adequate:

Sorry, there is a second similar sign, mounted high, almost off the site on a grassy verge, behind a wall and a No Entry sign. This image was provided by Premier Park to Popla to support the compliance of their signage which POPLA agreed with!! Not sure what this might mean for a wheelchair user or person with eye-sight issues?brandmartyr said:
