Car insurance renewal query

Tha cheapest renewal price for my car insurance is through my automatically generated renewing with my current provider.  I bought this policy through a comparison site 2 years ago, they offer £250 free excess cover.  Will I still get this benefit if I renew direct with my current provider?  The comparison site has not provided a quote from them,   Thank you, I'd appreciate advice. The comparison site don't have a helpline....

You also wouldn't have the excess cover for the 2nd policy year
if it is that important you can buy a policy through the comparison site if they are still offering excess cover.

You could consider insuring your excess if it is important to you.
1st one to come up on Google search below. Never used them, don't know anybody who has used them, so can't vouch for them. or have any idea of the cost.
