Unknown MMS messages showing on my bill

I am with Tesco Mobile.I have Samung A15 Android phone.
3 MMS messages are showing on my bill (chargeable) all were apparently sent from my phone to my wife's and all during the same minute. At this time I was sitting next to my wife, and neither of us remeber sending and receiving an MMS. The messages are not showing on our phones, or in our deleted items. We barely use texts anyway
We would have remembered because - I only sent 2 texts in the month. We know MMS are costly and my wife (even if I had done so inerror) would have told me in no uncertain terms that I was losing my marbles for sending one three times while I was sitting next to her.. I can't recall sending an MMS for years and would never attach an emojee to a text or send her a long text.
We are both pretty savvy and I don't think we have followed any dodgy links.
Tesco mobile say they don't have any further information.
Can anyone shed any light on thios or suggest what we can do to investigate this and prevent a repeat?

Could it be the texting version of a pocket dial?
Are MMS costly? I would have thought pennies but I have an inclusive contract so don't see these things itemised.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. are they perhaps picture messages?0

Did you ever include any symbol in a text? Thumbs up, smiley etc? They change a standard text into an MMS to be able to sent.

Disable MMS mesages on your Samsung A14, article below. If that doesn't stop the charges you know there's probably something wrong with Tesco Mobile billing:

Just to point out that when you send an MMS or SMS or make a call then your phone and SIM authenticate with the network. (That's not the case for other messengers)
It's therefore very unlikely that these weren't sent by your phone.
I'm not aware of any apps or phone features that would send MMS. But Setting up RCS or iMessage does involve your phone sending SMS for verification and these might not be included in your plan as they are what are called standard rate messages.0 -
I'd also have a think about the time, is it BST or GMT?And even the date - different service, (electricity supply) but on another forum earlier today a user reported just getting a monthly bill dated as ending on 31 June???Many large 'utility' companies, including phone companies, stay on GMT/UTC in the background - and sometimes that confuses the computer doing the billing when converting it.0
