Excel parking fine

Hi, so I am a private contractor and over the period of 4 weeks I was doing night works on an Aldi in Halifax

during my 4 weeks there must of been one of the weeks where the Aldi manager didn’t input my registration onto there parking system so now I have received 3 parking fines, I took all letters into the Aldi and the manager took them off me and and told me he’d sort it, after this I left it and thought that would be the end of it

About 2 weeks ago I received letters saying I’ve not paid and it is now £100 each per ticket, obviously I thought they had been sorted but clearly not, I was out of the appeal time frame but I have tried appealing anyway but I received and email on all fines saying as it’s out of the time limit they will not accept my appeal

does anyone know what my options are? Should I make the 3 hour round trip to go see the store manager or will that be a waste of time

or should I just pay it? I’d rather not give these scumbags £300

    1. Do Not Pay.

    2. Contact Aldi manager ( by Phone? )

    3. Do Not Pay.

    4. When you appealed did you say you were the driver?

    5. Guess what? Do Not Pay.
  • I am going to try get the Aldi managers phone number tonight, unfortunately I cannot contact the store directly

when I appealed I write it out asif I was the driver and made myself sound like I was driving but I didn’t physically say I was the driver

No worries. Complain to Aldi Head Office.  They caused this.

You won't be paying but open every letter to check when it gets to a non-ignore stage in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread.

Also not you have not received any "fines" they are invoices from chancers.
  • So is ignoring the letters not really an option?

Depends on who sends the letters and what the contents are . ( Some can be ignored, others must be dealt with. )
  • I know absolutely nothing about any of this, I apologise if I sound dumb

how do I know when it’s at the none ignore stage
