Thanks. I will complain first thing today.
i am away (far away) for three weeks from early September so would ideally like to see something sorted where we just then have to deal with normal process/progress.1 -

Today we called and was asked to send a s/s of the response, the defence doc, and include in the email title 'unprocessed' to claimresponses. Chap said that's their process, and they have a processing backlog of three weeks.
Already yesterday had emailed the claimprogression email + the complaints one (which has a ccbc string in it so may be old) with exactly that (s/s and defence) and asked to raise a complaint against the court and pointing out the issue is due to their error and asking for immediate mitigating action.
Guess I will call Monday again. If no joy will asked to be transferred to someone in authority.
Thanks all.2 -
"Chap said that's their process, and they have a processing backlog of three weeks."
Just a thought - how about "their process" includes the suspension of the ppc's "nuclear button" that the department have given them to raise a CCJ seconds after the expiry time without any manual intervention. The CCJ by default docs. can then be included in the backlog - or don't they care about the extreme hardship that can/is being caused to the general public.5 -

No reply from ANY of the emails. Have sent again today requesting immediate action + also a letter of authority so I can speak with them as my wife (OP) is so very upset by this all.
We go on holiday Saturday0 -
You are going to have to ring them at 8.30am and refuse to get off the phone until you speak to a supervisor & get an assurance that they WILL set aside the CCJ.
Do NOT be told by a clueless clerk that you "have to fill in an application". This is CNBC error and no N244 Is required.
HOW DARE THEY DO THIS TO VICTIMS OF PARKING SCAMMERS?
Did you send your complaint to the specific email addresses shown in the thread I linked? It was a different email from which a person replied to the other victim.May be that the judgement processing was in the backlog too, as deadline for defence was 14/8 and judgement recorded 22/8 - at after 7pm - so someone was working late. No, that was done by the Claimant's solicitor.
The court does nothing. They give Claimants a nuclear button to destroy people's credit. No checks and balances. No human involvement at the CNBC.
No 'judgment processing' team exists. Power is handed to Claimants to press a button.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Received this after 3.30pm (yesterday as I type). First reaction is ... 'phew'.
So now that action has been taken ... I should seek compensation?
I can reply to a person - name given in the email. Happy to take advice on words/tone to respond with thanks.
@Coupon-mad yes email came from ccmccandccbc-complaints@justice.gov.uk and is one of the mails we used first.

Phew! Sorted.
I suggest read what others replied with, many got compensation when they escalated it and said this just isn't good enough.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi All,
I have been watching MCOL as on holiday and (entry must be delayed cause I last checked on 20/09) but DQ has been sent 18/09.
Got an online PDF version ready but reading up you suggest the paper one as the new form forces mediation. My options are limited to what I can do on my phone/ipad.
Please advise:
1/ what the deadline is/is likely to be for returning the DQ?
2/ if stuck to using the online one is section E detail mandatory?
Thanks.0 -
Yes it's mandatory and you can't get around it. You have ages to return the DQ; well into October.
See the first 12 steps in the Template Defence thread which has two links now about compulsory Mediation.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
