FREE pdf editor for eBay postage labels..

If I get a non UK sale, eBay postage provides me with a pdf that has the postage label, the CN22 and a certificate of posting.
I need to crop this so I can send the postage and CN22 to my label printer and I'm having a nightmare finding a crop tool to do this. I don't do this enough to justify paying any subscription fees.
Can anyone recomend  a totally free tool to do this.  🤞🤞Thank you

PDF24 on a computer has lots of functions, although I don't know if any of them are specifically a crop function.  (I use it to resize, e.g. force it to be A5 size when the normal printing would have it A4, or printing things as booklets, etc.)

Totally free so worth a try anyway.
  • If you have an image editor you could take a screen print of PDF and crop it that way.

Or use something like smallpdf (which I think allows a few uses a day for free before you have to pay) to convert to a jpg and then (assuming using a Windows Pc) use Paint to crop it.

PDFgear is free and allows editing of .PDF documents (as well as conversion to other editable formats, such as .DOC). Not sure whether it does cropping.

  • My thanks for the replies. I'll work thru them to see which I can use. I suspect the image editor is the way to go...🤞

You might want to have a look at your printer settings. You should be able to send it to print at a smaller size, eg 90%.
I subscribe to Adobe for other stuff so not entirely sure what's free on their site but I know there is quite a lot of free stuff on there if you want to crop the PDF.

  • PDFgear was the way to go for me, totally free, and the crop section works fine.
once again thanks for all suggestions
  • Windows snipping tool, save, insert to word and save as PDF
  • Can vouch for PDF24 as well great bit of free software.
