in Credit cards
Hi,
I currently am the holder of a BC with a named 2nd user who's my partner.
I want my partner to also have access to all transactions on both cards as I'm able to. Unfortunately, BC doesn't allow this.
Does anyone know of a card that will have the option of two people accessing all transactions?
Thanks.

That is not the way credit cards work in the UK. In other countries it may be possible but that is dependent on the laws of that country. As the primary card holder you are responsible for the debt on both your own card and the debt on the supplementary card. This is pure speculation and may not work; and I certainly haven't seen it suggested on these boards before.I am wondering if you give your partner POA on your financial affairs, whether BC would then allow you both to have access to the same app/transactions? Though if you ask them the question, they may withdraw your credit facility on the basis you are not competent to manage your affairs. Having said that a financial POA can be used by the attorney before the donor has lost capacity. One possbility for you to both see your transactions (which you may already have) is a joint current account. Then you should both be able to see all transactions. There are cards where the primary card holder can see all transactions and the secondary card holder can see only their transactions. Amex offer this facility. The advantage of this is that each card holder has their own app and login and so can authorise their own transactions. The downside is that Amex is not accepted in as many places as Visa and Mastercard.1

"The law" is often mentioned as to why joint credit cards cannot exist in the UK but to date no one has ever been able to quote which piece of legislation they are referring to, can you @ir1277? Clearly joint credit is allowed more generally given you can have overdrafts on joint accounts and joint loans etc etc.
Personally always assumed it was more a demand thing, in the US some banks do offer joint credit cards but by all accounts take up is tiny and many banks dont offer them.1
