How can it be when it's still using April's prices? Apparently they are "busy" updating it with the July price cap. Can't be that busy seeing as that happened a month ago.........1

Do you subscribe to the newsletter? The latest one got sent out last night, and it is strongly suggesting that now is probably a good time to fix.1 -
Yes I saw that. My Octopus offer of fix is a slight increase in tarriffs both gas and elec, . Do you just take your annual projected usage for a year and add on 10%. In my case £712 with fix £721 per yr. Help please0

I too got the email and the figures on the comparison are totally incorrect. I did the same comparison on moneysupermarket and "outfox the Market's" own websites and they were correct. This is not really good enough when sending out a mass mailing!0

1 October: Estimated rough PREDICTION £1,900 +2%
Whereas the email talks about a 9% prediction. The comparison site is still stuck on 2% prediction0 -
Sorry - the formatting of my cut and paste was awful. Here is what the site says:
If I stay on the price cap it is predicting a 2% rise in October whereas the whole thrust of the article talks about a predicted 10% rise in October. Also, When I dig into the details of the actual tarrif it is a little different to Moneysupermarkets own site and also Outfox the markets own site (I just switched to their 1 year fix).0 -

The rise in October is 10% btw. 9% is the average for the next 12 months.0
